The OceanSOS Fellowship is open to all early career researchers (ECRs)* involved at any time during the project. It will be shaped around the group's needs and complement opportunities available via existing Early Career Ocean Professionals (ECOP) networks, focusing strongly on skills development in the interdisciplinary field of science to policy and High Seas ocean literacy.

We are in the early stages of planning the Fellowship programme and welcome enquiries or suggestions. Please contact the PMO if you have any ideas or would like to join the Fellowship!

*If you are involved in OceanSOS and are a postgraduate student or consider yourself in the early stages of your professional academic or research career, you are welcome to join the fellowship.
There is no strict limit on years of experience for eligibility, but a typical range would be within 5–10 years of your degree.
